Jim's Family Restaurant - Summerville: A Cozy Diner Experience with Home-Cooked Delights

Great food, friendly staff, not chaotic, but rather calm. The food gives off a home style feeling whenever you take a bite, and usually, I always get breakfast, cause honestly, it's way better than McDonald's breakfast! Good coffee, good pancakes, good gravy& biscuits, just everything tastes good! Great place, and friendly staff, but the only upside to this review was that they don't let you pay with card, only checks and money, which is quite bugging since I don't always carry cash and checks, so hopefully they will change this and get a card reader.

We just left from our first visit. Let me start with we arrived 30 minutes before closing as we were driving through on our way home to Bremen ga. Sent my husband in to make sure they were ok with us coming in so late. Thankfully they were because we drive by often to see family in Lafayette but never have time to stop to grab a bite to eat. I’m so glad they said yes. Their food was AMAZING. Hubby and I had the ribeye and grilled shrimp. Cooked perfectly Med Rare. Juicy steak and their fully stocked salad bar. Their staff was so warm and welcoming. Clean environment as well. I see us coming back more and planning more time just so we can make a stop to eat in the future. Thank you Kensley for being extremely informative on your menu and specials. Our food was out within 15 minutes maybe a little less. All in all a wonderful place to eat with family and highly recommend others stopping by as well.

Ate here passing through. Family owned small town restaurant. Has menu items as well as a cafeteria style hot bar with daily specials and they even come out on old school colored and hard sectional cafeteria style plates. Staff was friendly as well.

This is a rustic dinner. Friendly, courteous staff. The salad bar is well stocked with a variety of tasty salads, well worth the price. They have buffet and menu dining all reasonably priced. Be aware they do not take credit cards, cash or checks only.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Atlanta. Very nice mom and pop diner. Service was great! Our food came out pretty fast. They only take cash, no credit/debit cards!

Staff accommodated our group of 14 Harley riders for breakfast. Multiple waitresses served our food promptly. Never let our coffee and water run dry. This is a favorite place for us. Breakfasts always good.

Everyday good food The Philly was excellent. Vegetables were cooked p were soft, and the chic wings were tasty, and fresh drinks were fresh, the waitress and staff were really friendly.

Me and my family were on a short road trip to get a new motorcycle for my dad. While we were on the way back, we decided to eat somewhere new, not knowing what was down there we didn't know what to expect. It was pretty good! The food and Service was excellent, and I saw what was probably the biggest onion ring ever.
